Cathy
As the owner of In Bloom, I believe that cultivating beauty means the ability to bring one's beauty to the forefront and enhance our own individual assets. Beauty comes with confidence, and when someone feels good about themself, they can put their best foot forward. To that end, I to have created In Bloom to be an inviting place to cultivate beauty.
I have been a hairdresser for 22 years. I started my career in Southern California and over the years have obtained a great knowledge of different techniques in hair cutting and coloring. I find it very important to incorporate beautiful color into my designed cuts. Each client has specific lifestyle and professional needs that dictate their unique style. I believe every style should have options. Through education and styling product knowlegde, my clients should feel they can achieve different looks for the style they are going for that paticular day.
I have an extensive background in Redken education and have been a colorist for them for 15 years. I am also an educator for Unite Eurotherapy products.

I am a certified makeup artist who not only grew up in the industry, but who also brings a love of fashion and design to my job. After obtaining certification at V.I.P. Kat Makeup Academy, I joined the team at In Bloom. Our mineral-based In Bloom makeup products are outstanding, and I love using them to enhance ones features and bring out qualities like eye color or lips. I also enjoy applying makeup for special occassions, everything from a evening out to a prom to a bride's wedding day.

For the past seven years I have worked as a Client Services Manager for Cisco Systems/WebEx. I currently support customers all accross Latin America. I enjoy supporting my customers and coaching them on the use and adotion of the service they have subscribed to.
I recently decided to persue my long time passion as Make-up Artist, thanks to the encouragement and support of my dearest and closest friend and mentor Cathy Murphy, owner of In Bloom Hair. I have received my certification as Make-up Artist and decided to take it to the next level by attending a masters certification course through VIP Cat Academy of Cosmetic Arts. Makeup is my passion! I greatly enjoy seeing the end result of how through the art of makeup application an individuals features can be enhansed and accentuated. It is rewarding to see the transformation and the joy of my clients when they see the end result.
